Friends of the Cangle

The Friends of Cangle was formed over 30 years ago by parents of the children at the school to raise funds to buy extra items to improve the experience for the children at school. Everyone is welcome to come and join the Friends on their fund raising efforts; we hold meetings about once a half term.

The Friends regularly hold discos for the children that are a great success. We also hold events such as the Summer and Christmas Fayres as well as  competitions and other events throughout the year. However, we are always willing to try new and different ideas in the future so if you have a great fundraising idea, please do get in contact. 

In the past the Friends have been able to fund projects such as extra reading books for the library, helping the school with a new reading software system in school and providing a shed for outdoor play equipment. 

We really are a friendly bunch of people who would appreciate any offers of help. All fundraising directly benefits the school and the learning environment for the children so any help that can be offered really does count.
